Rings, up close
Dense rings and sparse rings
Some stadiums sit downtown with thousands of screens nearby. Others sit in a sea of parking, and the plan leans on the roads in.

What the Explorer shows
Every NFL, FBS and FCS football home in one searchable table and map: 298 teams, 290 unique stadiums (32 NFL teams in 30 stadiums, 138 FBS, 128 FCS). The two New York pro teams share MetLife Stadium, and the two Los Angeles pro teams share SoFi. Six college programs play in NFL venues (Pitt, Temple, USF, UNLV, Miami and Tennessee State), so their rows point to the same stadium as the pro team.
For each team you get the level, conference or division, stadium, city, capacity, DMA and the number of digital screens within two miles. Search, filter by level or conference, and sort any column. The map clusters stadiums until you zoom in.
Team and school names are factual location labels. No logos, uniforms or team color schemes appear here or on the plans built from it.
Where the two-mile counts come from
“Screens ≤2 mi” counts digital out-of-home placements within two miles of each stadium, pulled from the Goldfish planner on Sept 25, 2026 (2026-09-25). Every venue type is in there: roadside boards, street furniture, gas, convenience, bars, restaurants, grocery, rideshare tops and more. Publishers add and remove screens daily, so read the count as a dated snapshot, not a hold on inventory.
The 30 NFL stadium rings hold 52,099 placements between them, and the 138 FBS rings hold 75,312. Every FBS stadium has inventory inside two miles. FCS rows show capacity but no coordinates or counts yet, and we build FCS rings on request.
Counts are per stadium, so shared venues show the same screens on both rows. Conference totals elsewhere count each shared venue once.
Dense rings and sparse rings
Rings vary wildly. Soldier Field sits in downtown Chicago with 12,966 placements inside two miles. Allegiant borders the Las Vegas Strip with 2,678. Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta has 3,571, Empower Field in Denver 2,932, Nissan Stadium in Nashville 2,659 and Lumen Field in Seattle 2,529.
Suburban stadiums flip that. Arrowhead has 116 placements inside two miles, Gillette 166 and the new Highmark Stadium 293. A ring that small won’t carry a plan by itself. At those stadiums the highways, gas stations and roadside boards on the way in do the heavy lifting, along with the fan-dense blocks across the DMA. We’d rather you see that here than find it in a wrap report.
College rings follow the same pattern. Urban campuses like Georgia Tech (4,741) and USC (2,297) have dense rings. Classic college towns often have a few hundred screens near the stadium and many more on the roads that lead to it.
How to build a plan from a stadium
Every row has a “Build this plan” button. It opens the plan form on this page with the stadium, its coordinates and a two-mile radius filled in. Add the brand, flight and budget, and a planner sends back a live map and proposal on client-map.media-dooh.com within one business day.
Most stadium plans stack three layers. The ring covers the hours around kickoff, which means tailgating, parking, the walk in and the bars nearby. The corridor covers the drive in: pro fans drive up to 25 miles, and 23-27% of stadium visits come from out of state. The fan-block layer reaches the census blocks across the DMA that index highest for pro or college football, which is where the watch parties and stock-up runs happen on away weekends.
Plans follow the real schedule. Rings run on home weekends and pause for byes and road games. For college, the ring runs from about six hours before kickoff to three after, with a game-week build on the roads and in the stadium DMA’s grocery, gas and convenience stores.
Stadium changes for 2026
Houston’s stadium was renamed Reliant Stadium in Aug 2026. Buffalo’s new stadium opened in June 2026. Tennessee is in its final season at the current stadium, with a new one opening in 2027. Jacksonville is playing at a reduced capacity of 42,507 during renovation. In college, Northwestern opens its new stadium Oct 2, and UCLA stays at the Rose Bowl.
Further out, Cleveland’s Brook Park dome is planned for 2029 and Washington’s RFK-campus stadium is set for 2030. Kansas City’s new domed stadium in Kansas and Denver’s Burnham Yard both target around 2031. Banks, builders and hospitality brands should watch these as closely as football advertisers.
New York and Los Angeles are the only DMAs split between two pro teams. A ring reaches both fan bases at once. Team-fan cohorts split them block by block without naming a team in the creative.
Beyond the ring: markets without a stadium
22 of the 50 largest TV markets have no NFL stadium, including Orlando, Sacramento, Raleigh-Durham, Portland, St. Louis, San Diego, San Antonio, Austin and Columbus, Ohio. Plenty of them are huge college football markets. A plan that only buys stadium radius networks misses all of them.
So the football plans pair rings with census-block audiences. The Always-On Football Fan Network plan covers 403,274 placements in blocks indexing 115+ for American football interest. The College Football Heartland plan covers 255,582 placements in blocks indexing 120+ for college football. Start here for stadium-led plans, and let the audience layer cover everywhere else.

Compliance & creative guardrailsThe rules, so your legal team doesn't have to go find them
- League and team marks
- Only official sponsors may use league or team names, logos, uniforms, player likenesses, “Super Bowl®” or “Super Sunday®.” Use “the Big Game,” “game day,” “football season” and city names. No “congratulations” or “good luck” ads aimed at teams. Outcome-based creative is score-agnostic and city-level only. No tickets in sweepstakes.
- College marks
- School names that imply affiliation, logos, mascots and conference, NCAA or CFP marks all need a license. Use “Saturday,” “rivalry weekend” and Goldfish or advertiser brand colors. NIL covers the athlete, not the uniform.
- Alcohol
- Industry codes require 73.6% (beer), 73.7% (wine) and 73.8% (spirits) of the audience to be 21+. That means 21+ venues, off campus, following state distance-from-school rules.
- Team colors
- Never combine a team color scheme with city and football imagery. That's a trade-dress risk even without logos (LSU v. Smack Apparel). Use Goldfish or advertiser brand colors.
- Prediction markets (sports event contracts)
- Treated like sportsbooks: 21+ venues, no campus or campus-adjacent screens, no college-athlete likeness and no league, team or “Big Game” references. Excluded in any state with active enforcement, currently including CT (which ordered nine platforms to halt advertising on Sept 16, 2026), NV, MI and UT, plus other orders and injunctions, re-checked weekly. The NFL bars prediction-market ads from its broadcasts, and the NCAA has asked the CFTC to halt college contracts. Legal review before every flight.
- Clean zones
- Host cities often set up temporary commercial-sign “clean zones” around major events (New Orleans ran a nine-day zone for the 2025 Big Game). Before Big Game week in LA/Inglewood and the Jan 25 title game in Las Vegas, we check for any ordinance and keep creative on permanent, permitted digital screens.
- Sportsbooks
- 31 states + DC have legal online betting (verified before launch). Wisconsin legalized tribal mobile betting in Apr 2026 but isn't live, so no app promotion there until launch. No ads in AL, AK, CA, GA, HI, ID, MN, OK, SC, TX or UT. In retail-only states (MS, MT, NE, NM, ND, SD, WA), don't promote apps. AGA code: 73.6%+ of the audience 21+, no campuses, no college partnerships or college-athlete NIL, and no “risk-free.” College player props are banned in 13-15 states.

Questions
- How many stadiums are in the Explorer?
- 298 teams in 290 unique stadiums: 32 NFL teams in 30 stadiums, 138 FBS and 128 FCS.
- Where do the 2-mile screen counts come from?
- From the Goldfish planning platform on Sept 25, 2026. Screens get added and removed daily, so counts move.
- Why are some FCS stadiums missing from the map?
- We don’t have verified coordinates for them yet. They stay in the table and off the map, because we don’t place a stadium by guesswork.
