What Changed in Late 2025
DV360 launched programmatic guaranteed DOOH access through a Broadsign/Place Exchange integration in December 2025. If your workflow already runs through DV360, you can access DOOH inventory without adding a separate platform.
Setup in DV360
DOOH inventory appears under the Out-of-Home channel in inventory management. Create an OOH Line Item within your Insertion Order — separate from Display, Video, or Audio line items. The OOH line item type became available in DV360 in Q4 2024.
Targeting Options
Geography (DMA, city, zip, custom polygon), dayparting (set at line item level under scheduling), venue type filtering through inventory source selection.
Audience segments from DV360 can be layered but work at the geographic/venue level — they don't follow individual devices to DOOH screens the way they do for display.
Creative Specs in DV360
Use OOH Creative format type in the Creative module. Standard digital billboard: 1920×1080px, 16:9, MP4, 30MB max, 15-second max. DV360 accepts VAST tags for video and direct asset uploads.
Do not submit DOOH assets as Display or Video creatives — they will not traffic correctly.
Reporting
Impressions, CPM, and spend at line item level. Venue-type breakdown through inventory report dimension. Unique reach is modeled — no individual device-level deduplication for OOH in DV360 currently.
For outcome measurement (foot traffic, brand lift), use a third-party partner — DV360's built-in conversion tracking does not support offline OOH attribution.
